I read a book that was later made into a movie starring the fab Sarah Jessica Parker (she’ll always be Carrie Bradshaw to me!) The premise of the book and movie was with regard to how a working mom manages to do it all.
This is one of the most popular questions I get asked as a business owner and momma to an amazing little girl. Many times it appears I have it all together and have found this perfect balance between being a mom and a woman going after her dream.
One of the toughest aspects of starting a business when your kids are little is how to get everything done that needs to get accomplished. When I started, Halianna was not even potty trained and needed constant attention from her mom, the wanna-be business owner with a dream! When I have friends visit who don’t have kids yet, I always get the same feedback: “You are never off and always have to be on.” “You go from full-time business woman to full-time ‘Mommy of the Year.’”
